Studying is probably the reason you're coming to Delft, but a lot of people aren't fulfilled by only following lectures, traveling and studying. Your student time is the period in which you gain experience and get to know yourself.
At the Koornbeurs you have room to develop yourself. Have you always wanted to organise a drum 'n bass party or do you want to gain contacts in the rock- and metalworld? Do you want to set up a crazy lightshow, manage the sound for a live band, learn how to tap the perfect beer or would you rather bake a weird banana peel pie for the tea-attic? Then you most definitely should visit the Koornbeurs some time!

HAVE A DRINK TOGETHER
You'll have a good time having a drink together at any association in Delft, but the Koornbeurs has the extra benefit that you are always allowed to bring friends from your study to chill.
MUSIC
Music is one of the core parts of the association.
Of course we have some parties with DJ's and a lot of beer, but we always make sure to keep a spot open for live bands and cellar-jams. Every month we organise one of our metalcafés and some evening with other live music.
We also have more than enough members that would love to bring their instrument to jam for a bit.
Additionally, each year we organise a random Battle of the bands!
ARTICLE 2
Every association in Delft has a purpose, and for the Koonbeurs, that is article 2.
"The purpose of the association is to aid in the personal and societal comprehension of young people, to be a meeting place for young people, to stimulate a critical and active attitude towards society and to aid in the battle against social injustice and for a better society."
This leads to activities like election interviews with members and debate evenings with political parties, museum excursions, participating in climate marches, making repairs at a petting zoo and volunteering at multiple festivals.
